An exceptional privately bound three volume WWI diary by Petty Officer Allan Macbeth Royal Naval Service - Armoured Car Division - two vols covering Gallipoli and one West Egypt Sensussi Campaign with typed personal narrative, photographs, cuttings and diagrams, includes very detailed account of camp life, travel and military engagements including trench warfare. He joined the Royal Navy 14th December 1914, became a commissioned as a Temporary Sub Lieutenant 1916 and was awarded an MBE medal (London Gazette Date 1st Jan 1917)
